Hi there! My name is Catherine Carias. I just wrapped up my first year as a 2nd grade dual language teacher at Rodriguez Elementary (AISD). I am originally from Frisco, Texas, but moved to Austin to study bilingual education at UT. As a teacher I am passionate about making learning as individualized and engaging as possible for each student! In my personal life I am a dog mom of two, and love to read and stay active. I am excited to participate in the RET program so I can expand my scientific knowledge and enhance my students’ STEM learning experience. As a Texas Ex I am also glad I get to continue to work with and on the absolute best college campus!
