It has been a banner year for the Center's undergraduates! While just last week we celebrated a graduating student from our first FUSE cohort winning and NSF GRFP, this week we learned that a FUSE student from the second cohort, Campbell Jordan, won a prestigious UT Award.
Campbell Jordan, of the Baiz Lab, has been named a Distinguished College Scholar at The University of Texas at Austin's 78th Annual Honors Day! The recognition is awarded to the top 4% of undergraduate students in each college, with Campbell representing the Cockrell School of Engineering.
Additionally, two former MRSEC REU students also won NSF GRFPs. We are proud to share that Lillian Hutchinson (REU 2024, University of Arkansas) will go on to pursue her PhD in Biomedical engineering in the fall. Finally, Austin MacIntyre (REU 2025, University of Wisconsin-Madison) is going to the University of Washington to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering, where he plans to work with CDCM alumnus Dr. Zach Sherman.
