Irene Sarro is a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin in the Stachowiak Lab. She is originally from Pisa, Italy, and earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering with minors in Bioengineering and Chemistry from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude. Her research focuses on endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and targeted drug delivery.
