Toni is a 2nd-year PhD Chemical Engineering student in Chemical Engineering, co-advised by Dr. Jeanne Stachowiak and Dr. Brian Belardi. Her research focuses on using phase-separating chimeric ligands that form condensates on cell membranes for the selective degradation of oncogenic proteins. She received her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2023 and worked as a Biopharmaceutical Development Scientist at AstraZeneca for a couple of years before returning to the. University of Texas at Austin to pursue her doctorate.
