Will Ward is a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in the Akinwande Lab. He is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, and earned his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating with distinction. His research focuses on vapor-phase synthesis, characterization, and device fabrication utilizing 2D materials.
