Hello! My name is Chelsie Sakaria, and I am a 3rd grade teacher for Manor ISD. I absolutely LOVE being an educator. I started my career in education as an instructional aide. This included being a one on one inclusion aide, I.S.S., and a kindergarten aide. I started my teaching career in Copperas Cove, teaching 4th grade ELAR and social studies. I taught 4th grade for a total of four years. Once I moved over to Manor ISD, I began teaching 3rd grade and have been doing so for the past three years.
This year, I've had the pleasure of being team lead. On top of that, last summer I decided to go back to school to obtain my Master's degree in Educational Leadership. In this program, I had to complete 160 principal internship hours, while being a team lead, a mom of two, and a devoted wife. I have been able to do successfully all of that, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. That goes to show just how capable I am at juggling multiple things at once.
