Hello! My name is Connie Rodriguez and I have been an educator in elementary grades for the past 16 years. I currently teach 2nd grade in Pflugerville ISD. I love bringing science into my classroom through hands-on activities. I love seeing my students thrive during the exploration stage of our experiments. I am so excited to be returning to the RET program as a second year participant. I learned so much with Dr. Taleff and his associates last year. The RET program allowed me to add to the network of inspiring educators who excel at their craft and collaborate with a very talented group of engineers. I look forward to working in the chemistry labs this year. My husband, Christopher, and I have been together for 27 years and we have three beautiful children together. AnnaStesia, Christopher and Maximiliano keep me laughing for certain! My husband and I could easily be mistaken for a traveling comedy show as we love a good laugh. I love being with family, hosting game nights and sharing my love of baking with friends and family. I love meeting new people and have been told from a very young age that I never meet a stranger. I look forward to meeting all of the returning and new participants this year!
