My name is Patricia González-Villaseñor. I moved to Austin in 2004. I have a Bachelor in Computer Engineer and move to Education after having the opportunity to work in different Engineering fields. I love to learn about Science and Engineering. I have been teaching Bilingual students with the Austin Independent School District for 18 year from Pre-K to 3rd grade. I am looking forward to learn more about characterizations, concentrations, encapsulations, cross-linkers, and future hydrogel applications. I am impressed every day with the things that my mentor is doing in the Lab. I am planning to use this experience to engage students to think like a scientist/engineer all the time.
