Graduate Research Assistant, Physics, IRG 2

I am a graduate student studying condensed matter theory in Prof. Allan MacDonald's group. I am interested in strongly correlated electronic phenomena in van der Waals materials-such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides- and their interplay with topology. Currently, I am working on understanding ordered states in graphene multilayers in the quantum Hall regime, both in 2D and 3D, and their connection to fractional quantum Hall states. I am also investigating aspects of incommensurability and quasi-periodicity in twisted layered systems.
