I am a post-doc in Allan H. MacDonald's group. During my undergraduate study I majored in electronic engeering and become a Ph. D student in theoretical physics, with little knowledge of math and physics. I earned my Ph. D majored in quantm information at University of Science and Technology of China, located at Hefei, China, where I worked on quantum simulations in spin systems such as Nitrogen Vacancy centers. My current interest  in Allan H. MacDonald's group include topological superconductivity and topological insulators, and aimed to explore interesting physics in these systems such as Majorana states, topological magnetoelectric effect, quantum anomalous Hall effect. My main motivation is to explore systems that host these phenomenon at room temperature such that they are able to be applied in spintronic or quantum devices. The main tools I employed include ab initio DFT calculations and the effective models developed.
