I’m Zach Wilborn, a 6th grade World Cultures teacher in Pflugerville ISD with 13 years of teaching experience. I am excited to return to UT after participating in the Research Experience for Teachers program in the summer of 2021 to once again deepen my understanding of science and engineering while developing experiential learning opportunities for my students. My professional interests include educational policy and equity in education, language acquisition, and adolescent psychology. In my free time, I like to go on hikes with my terrier pup, care for my backyard ducks, and work on the steps to become a licensed foster parent.
