Welcome to the Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials, an NSF MRSEC! We are excited to have you become a part of our community. Please review the information below to familiarize yourself with the Center and all resources available to you. 

What is the Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials? 
Please review the About Page to learn more about the research groups (IRGs). Under the Research tab (top of the page, third from the left) to aquatint yourself with all the research happening within the Center.  
A big part of our vision for the Center is the K-12 Public Outreach and Education. We run an active outreach program that is volunteer driven. If you are interested in getting involved you can sign up here or contact Risa Hartman.

How to Make Center Purchases 

Mindy Maloney handles purchasing for the Center when not handled by your department. 

For UT Market Purchases: 

  • Include account number 
  • Note building & room # for delivery
  • Route to Mindy (EID: mynde):

For Purchases from Outside Vendors: 
Please send an email to mindy@utexas.edu containing all the requested information below. 

Requested Info:

  • Your name
  • PI / Advisor
  • Account Number 
  • Shipping Information (Building and room # where you want the item to be delivered) 
  • Order:
    • Vender Name 
    • Product Name
    • Item/Catalog ID 
    • Quantity 
    • Link/website to the desired item 
  • Add any notes, or attachments, or quotes 

Once your  shipping has been confirmed for your order, you will get an email with the tracking info.
